BNP leader Rashed Khan has commented that Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir wants to return to secret politics. He demanded that student politics should not be banned, but bad culture should be banned.
Rashed Khan made these comments in a post on his Facebook page today. He said, there has been a positive change in student politics since the mass uprising.Forcibly taking students to marches-meetings, common room-guestroom torture is none. But Shibir wanted to ban student politics during the mass uprising. Because they were thinking that maybe they will not get the opportunity of politics openly even after the fall of Awami League. It’s like a story about cutting the fox’s tail.
Rashed Khan said, they (camps) made their debut one after another during the interim government. Everyone applauded them. Those who have come out in the camp have not had any problems till date. But there are many benefits to being a normal student in disguise.
Which they analyzed between pre-dormant and post-dormant periods. This is why the camp wants to be secret again. Recently, there was a movement to ban student politics in the capital’s Eden College. The leaders of the student organizations responded. In this regard, Rashed Khan said, Eden College rioted last night in the name of banning student politics.
I was surprised, most of these students are wearing niqab or masks! However, during the July uprising, the students of Eden, who broke through the gate, came out in very normal clothes. They did not want to hide themselves by wearing a niqab or a mask.
Advising Eden students, Rashed Khan said, I will advise these sisters of mine, couples who sit on both sides of the road in front of Eden every evening… I don’t know who are sitting, but if you can stop it, you will have a good reputation. People will applaud if they protest to stop it.
Ultimately, Rashed Khan said that student politics should not be banned, but bad culture should be banned.
