Law and order forces have arrested two people in connection with the theft that took place at the house of popular film actress Yamin Haque Bobby. The arrested are Farooq and his wife. So far 4 gold ornaments have been recovered in this incident. The actress herself confirmed the information on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier this theft happened on May 26 at Bobby’s permanent residence in Senpara Parvata, East Manipur area under Kafrul Thana of the capital. Bobby alleged that while he was out shooting, miscreants entered the house by cutting the window grill and looted gold ornaments and valuables worth around Tk 85 lakh 70 thousand along with cash.
Bobby responded to the theft incident on social media and said that thieves do not have the opportunity to be seen as ordinary thieves; They are organized and professional criminals. He said that around 30-35 pieces of jewelery given by his father, cash and valuable watches were lost during the theft.
He also said, “Just two days before Eid, this incident has become a deep pain in my life. The pain of losing my father’s memory is difficult to express in words.”
Expressing satisfaction with the action of the law enforcement agencies in this incident, Bobby said, he is grateful for the arrest and recovery of partial gold. However, most of the gold ornaments have not been recovered yet, he said. Bobby wishes everyone’s cooperation and prayers to recover the rest of the wealth.According to the police earlier, a case was registered against the unidentified accused based on the complaint. On the basis of the investigation, two people have been arrested.
