Inauguration of ‘Dolan Art Exhibition 2026’ organized by Dolan, a children’s magazine published in Jessore. Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Kavi Rezauddin Stalin inaugurated this exceptional exhibition organized at Zainul Gallery of Fine Arts Faculty of Dhaka University on Sunday.
Rezauddin Stalin said in the speech of the chief guest at the ceremony, children are our future. Such arrangements are essential to develop their creativity and imagination. A child’s drawings reveal the world of his mind, dreams and thoughts.
He also said that such exhibitions play an important role in increasing the confidence of children and making them interested in art. The participation of children and teenagers from all over the country made this event more meaningful. It is a commendable initiative to give an opportunity to display their creative works in the gallery.
Editor of Dolan newspaper Kamal Mustafa gave a welcome speech at the ceremony. He said, ‘Dolan’ has been working for a long time in the creative development of children and this exhibition is a part of that effort.Nature, patriotism, dreams, fantasy and contemporary issues have emerged in the pictures drawn by the children and teenagers participating in the exhibition. Visitors get a chance to rediscover the world of children’s imaginations on colorful canvases.
Organizers said, the main goal of this event is to encourage children to practice art and create an opportunity to develop their creative talent.
The exhibition will be open for visitors from 4th May to 9th May 2026 from 11:45 am to 8:00 pm daily.
