Leaders of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tariq Rahman.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office at the Secretariat on Monday (May 11) at noon. Central level leaders of BGMEA and BKMEA were present during the meeting.
On this occasion, they are said to have discussed with the Prime Minister the current situation, future prospects and various aspects of export trade expansion of the garment and knitwear industry, one of the main driving forces of the country’s economy.
