The Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir commented that the people of Bangladesh are not afraid of thorns. He made such comments while talking to the media persons at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday (May 11).
Humayun Kabir said, there is no place to show fear to a country like Bangladesh with barbed wire. People in Bangladesh are not afraid of thorns, the government is not afraid of thorns either. Where we need to speak, we will speak.
This adviser on foreign affairs of the Prime Minister said that during the Hasina government’s tenure, we have seen many people being shot dead or hanging on barbed wire, the border will never come to that pattern, Insha’Allah. And if someone wants to create a border in that sample, this Bangladesh is not the slave’s Bangladesh, they will sit and watch. This Bangladesh has a plan on what to do.
Mentioning that neighboring countries must maintain regional peace, he said, we want dialogue with neighboring countries. Where we all want to be in a ‘balanced’ place. But challenges must be there, have been and always will be. For example, the terrorist Sheikh Hasina, who escaped after killing 1500 people, is now sheltered in India. However, we have told the Indian government that Sheikh Hasina should not commit any terrorism in Bangladesh while sitting in India and the Indian government has promised it.
Humayun Kabir said regarding the formation of the new government in West Bengal, primarily we will have relations with the central government. We do not want to interfere in their internal politics.Regarding the recent visit to China, he said that the visit to China was completed successfully. There has been good progress in the discussions on Teesta, there have been positive discussions.
He also said that China’s Exim Bank has expressed interest in financing.
