Show-cause notice (show-cause) has been issued to three important leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party for their involvement in various criminal activities including drug and gold smuggling. This order was issued by the Yuba Dal Central Executive Committee on Monday.
Leaders receiving shock are Magura District Youth Dal President Advocate Wasikur Rahman Kallol, Jessore District Youth Dal Member Secretary Ansarul Haque Rana and Sharsha Upazila Youth Dal Joint Convenor of Jessore Shahidul Islam Shahid.
In a letter signed by Central Assistant Secretary Minhajul Islam Bhui, it was informed that for the past few days, several national and local media have published news about these leaders being involved in drug and gold smuggling. It is mentioned in the letter that it is very sad and embarrassing for the youth group to be involved in such negative and immoral activities from the responsible position of the organization.
The notice also said that the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party is an ideological political organization and there is no scope for any person or group to carry out illegal activities. They have been asked to explain why strict organizational measures will not be taken against them.
Within the next 24 hours, Juba Dal Central Executive Committee President Abdul Monayem Munna and General Secretary Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan MP have been directed to appear in person to respond to this grief.
