Once again, the world-famous American pop star Katy Perry is involved in a serious controversy. This time, his popular music video ‘Teenage Dream’ co-star Josh Kloss has accused him of sexual misconduct.
In an interview with Page Six on Friday (April 24), Josh Close, 45, claimed Katy Perry pulled her pants down in front of everyone at a party in 2012.
Kloss said the incident occurred at a friend’s birthday party, two years after they worked together on the ‘Teenage Dream’ video in 2010.
In his words, ‘When I went to greet him, suddenly without warning he pulled down my pants. I screamed in shock, but he was just laughing.’
Jose also said that when he disclosed this incident for the first time in 2019, he was subjected to social scorn and ridicule. Many people told him that he was ‘lucky’ to be associated with such an incident.
In an earlier interview with The Guardian in 2020, Katy Perry did not directly respond to the allegations, saying that anyone can say whatever they want online and that it is not realistic to respond to all allegations.
Meanwhile, the new allegations come as Katy Perry is also under legal investigation over another sexual assault allegation by Australian actress Ruby Rose.
Ruby Rose previously alleged that Katy Perry sexually assaulted her at a Melbourne nightclub in 2010. Victoria Police has confirmed it is investigating the matter.A spokesperson for Perry, on the other hand, called the allegations ‘absolutely false’ and ‘dangerous and irresponsible’.
Katy Perry is again at the center of discussion in the international arena due to multiple allegations.
