Hadi’s sister Masuma Hadi has questioned the inclusion of Inkilab Manch member secretary Abdullah Al Jaber’s name as a plaintiff in the Sharif Osman Hadi murder case. He alleged that false and misleading campaigns are being spread on social media about the plaintiff in the case.
In a long status on her Facebook ID on Friday morning, Masuma Hadi outlined the context of the incident. He said he went straight to Evercare Hospital after hearing that his brother had been shot and stayed there the entire time. In this situation, he questioned why the administration took the signature of the case papers from Abdullah Al Jaber and the matter was not discussed with the family members.
Masuma Hadi said that when she inquired about the matter several times, she was told that Osman Hadi’s brother Omar Farooq said to look into the case later as he was busy with treatment.
He said, if Zaber was not a boy from my area, then maybe this question would not have arisen. But it needs to be clear how he became a plaintiff without discussing with the family.
Masuma Hadi also raised the issue of brother’s treatment in the status. He claimed that after being shot, Omar Farooq tried to arrange treatment abroad on his own initiative and contacted first Singapore, then Thailand for treatment. Later, Osman Hadi was taken to Singapore on the initiative of the government.
Masuma Hadi said, I have been silent for so long about the grief of losing my brother. But because of the way lies are being spread on social media around the family, I felt it necessary to clarify the matter.
He also said that if a revolutionary is to be respected, he should also behave responsibly towards his family and should not make disrespectful comments without verifying any facts.
