The body of Bangladeshi student Nahida Sultana Raini, who was murdered in Florida in the United States, has been recovered. Rain’s brother was contacted by the Florida Police Department to confirm the second body recovered was Rain’s. It has been requested to take the initiative to send the dead body to Bangladesh on behalf of Barshi’s family.
On Friday (May 1), the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington reported this information.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC is initiating the process of repatriating Rain’s body through the Bangladesh Consulate in Miami.
The body of Jamil Ahmed Limon will be sent to Bangladesh from Orlando International Airport in Florida on May 2. His body will reach Dhaka via Dubai on May 4.
Notably, the police recovered the body of Bangladeshi student Jamil Ahmed Limon last Friday (April 24) after being missing for about 10 days.
Lemon was pursuing a PhD in geography, ecology and policy at the University of South Florida. Bangladeshi Nahida Sultana Rishi, a PhD student, also went missing on the same day. Later, the police recovered the body parts of Rain. Body parts were recovered from a body of water near I-275 and Fourth Street North in Florida.
