The interim government’s decision to cancel the measles vaccination program has been writ petitioned in the High Court seeking an order to probe the role of the advisory council citing ‘criminal negligence’.

Supreme Court lawyer barrister M Ashraful Islam filed the writ in the relevant branch of the High Court on Sunday.
In addition to the cabinet secretary, the health, home and public administration secretary and the director general of the health department have been made defendants.
