Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Prannoy Verma has a farewell meeting with Prime Minister Tariq Rahman. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday (May 24) afternoon.
Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman was present at this time. This has been confirmed from the Prime Minister’s Press Wing.
The Prime Minister thanked the High Commissioner for his contribution to bilateral relations and wished him all the best for his future duties.
The High Commissioner reiterated India’s interest in deepening multilateral relations with Bangladesh for the mutual benefit and common prosperity of the people of the two countries.
They also briefly discussed various potential areas of cooperation based on the developmental priorities of the two countries.
