Iran has completely opened the Strait of Hormuz, an important route for world trade, amid the ongoing 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon. As a result, all commercial ships can pass through this channel
However, President Donald Trump said that the US naval blockade of the strait should be completed very quickly.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi said this on social media X account on Friday.
There, he said, the Strait of Hormuz is completely open amid the Lebanese ceasefire. During the 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, all commercial ships will be able to pass through this channel.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said, ‘The Strait of Hormuz is now fully open and ready for business. However, the naval blockade of the United States will remain in place until a final agreement is reached with Iran.’
In this regard, he also said, ‘most of the issues of discussion have already reached an agreement. As a result the entire process should be completed very quickly.’
Earlier Iran’s demand was to implement a ceasefire in Lebanon. US President Donald Trump announced a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon on Thursday night.
